Haircutting

Kellie utilizes scissors, texturing shears and razors to create the style her clients desire:

"Everyone's hair is unique. I'm very familiar and have worked with all different textures of hair. Your hair type dictates which tool or tools I'll use for your haircut. Not everyone's hair can withstand a razor cut and I respect that. I cut and shape thick, curly hair much differently than I would fine textured hair. I believe in soft shapes that are feminine but also can cut strong geometric shapes as well. My clients' needs range from short textured hair cuts that grow out easily to longer thin or thick, straight or curly hair that requires a very different approach. With many years of experience and listening carefully to my clients, I'm well versed in understanding how your hair will look and behave its best."

Styling

Kellie is a masterful stylist, able to call on her years of experience and creativity to meet the diverse needs of her clients:

"I feel my clients prefer when I use the necessary styling aids they need as well as a soft finished and detailed look. I have a strong eye for perfection and really like to check your haircut after it is styled. If hair is over-coifed then I can't see how your hair will fall and behave naturally. I know that if your haircut falls into place with ease then almost any style can be created."
